Rooibos / Green Rooibos Tea
Rooibos Tea South Africa
Red Mountain Rooibos & Green Rooibos Tea Bags
Grown solely in the mountainous regions of the Western Cape in South Africa, Rooibos (which means Red Bush in Afrikaans) gets its name from its ruby red colour.
Rooibos Tea is naturally caffeine-free, contains antioxidants and has no additives or preservatives. It can be enjoyed by people of all ages from 6 months, either hot or cold!
Enjoy a cup of hot tea? Boil freshly drawn cold water and place the tea bag in your cup. Steep for 3-5 minutes or even longer. Because it is naturally low in tannins, Rooibos Tea cannot taste bitter, no matter how long you steep your tea.
Remove the tea bag and enjoy! Add lemon, honey or milk as desired.
Cool down with a iced tea! Rooibos Tea also makes a wonderful iced tea. Simply follow the instructions as above and allow the tea to cool.
Once the tea has cooled, serve with ice cubes or crushed ice and a slice of lemon or lime and enjoy!

What Makes Rooibos Tea Proudly South African?
Rooibos Tea is a household staple for all South Africans, and plays an important role in the preservation of South African heritage. With all it’s benefits it is no wonder that it is slowly growing popularity in the rest of the world.
Rooibos tea is extremely high in anti-oxidants and has ton of anti-inflammatory properties. It also promotes weightloss and bone health, and can reduce cancer risk as well as protect against diabetes.
It is produced from a plant native to South Africa, the Aspalathus Linearis Shrub, which is found in the mountanious region of Cederberg in Cape Town.
Rooibos Tea has a smooth and sweet taste with hints of vanilla and is usually drank on it’s own or paired with milk and honey or sugar. However it is often also used to make other flavoured beverages such as lattes, red cappuccinos, iced tea and some modern cocktails.
